Contemporary Replacement Dwelling, Lancashire

Project:       New Build Dwelling

Location:    Lancashire

Type:           Replacement Dwelling

Client:         Private

Status:        Planning

Carter´s Building Consultancy was appointed to assist an Open Countryside Replacement Dwelling planning application. We have provided a detailed service offering including site survey with a drone, design feasibility study exploring various design options reviewing layouts and appearances that could be achieved for the site.  After exploring several design options we have now proposed a design that's in keeping with the open countryside and proposed a modern vernacular design. The overall appearance of the dwelling has been designed to present a high-quality and bespoke dwelling that blends traditional features of countryside locations such as pitched roofs and timber panelling, with more modern elements such as large-glazed elements, creating a building of real architectural merit.

Internally a feature main entrance has been formed with a large central staircase leading up to the first floor and gallery area. A large open plan living area formed housing the kitchen, dining and family area all looking out onto the garden and the open countryside in the horizon.

If you are thinking about building your new home in the Open Countryside and require our planning and design services, feel free to get in touch with Carter´s Building Consultancy.

As well as providing a detailed design service for a replacement dwelling. To assist with planning as well as our standard visuals we provided we also provided super realist photomontages showing exactly how the development would sit in the land compared to the existing structures that are currently on site. This has help full justify to the local authority that the new development would have no greater impact on the open countryside than what's currently there on site.

We are now looking forward to a successful outcome from the local authority and start preparing for the technical design stages and contractor appointments.
